About this product

a tangy and spicy condiment made from Indian gooseberries (amla) preserved in a mixture of spices, oil, and sometimes vinegar or other preservatives. It is known for its complex flavor profile, which combines sourness from the amla with spicy, salty, and sometimes sweet notes from ingredients like chili powder, mustard seeds, fenugreek, turmeric, and salt. This pickle is a popular accompaniment to many Indian dishes, including rice, roti, and dosa, and is valued for its high vitamin C content and other health benefits.
