MILLET ATTA WITH 7 GRAINS

Millet atta is a highly nutritious, gluten-free flour milled from ancient, small-seeded grasses like Jowar (Sorghum), Bajra (Pearl Millet), and Ragi (Finger Millet).

Valued for its mild, earthy flavor, it is frequently used to make traditional flatbreads (rotis), porridges, and batters

Key Characteristics

Flavor & Texture

Has a naturally mild, slightly nutty flavor. Because it lacks gluten, it yields a denser texture when used alone, making it ideal for flatbreads or blending.

Nutrient Density

Excellent source of dietary fiber, protein, calcium, and B vitamins.

Glycemic Index

Naturally features a low glycemic index, promoting better blood sugar management and steady energy.

Common Varieties

Single-Millet Atta

Flour made purely from one grain (e.g., Barnyard, Kodo, or Foxtail millet).

Multi-Millet Atta

A blended mix of several millets (often combined with wheat) to balance nutrition and improve the dough's stretchability for softer rotis.

Culinary Uses

Rotis & Chapatis

Can be mixed 50/50 with wheat flour or used alone to create traditional, health-conscious flatbreads.

Dosas & Cheelas

Easily mixed with water, buttermilk, and spices to create a quick, pourable batter for pancakes.

Baking & Snacks

Used for gluten-free baking and regional deep-fried snacks (e.g., khakhras, mathri).
