Tribes India Handcrafted Grey Metal Hattiwala Peer Kada

Jewellery is one of the oldest types of archaeological artefact with 100,000-year-old beads made from Nassarius shells thought to be the oldest known jewellery.

The Banjara tribes make different types of jewelry that are very unique in style. They also wear various beautiful ornaments and belts that are embellished with shells, metal mesh, beads, and chains. This nomadic group adorns colorful and weighty ornaments, embossed with coins, shells, beads, and metallic mesh which make them distinguishable at the very first glance. Also, the Banjara tribes adorn ornate belts around their waists to complement their vibrant attires. Banjara jewels are often decorated with colorful beads as well as tinkling silver bells and bear a distinctive oxidized appearance.
