Preparation Method

On the Aarudra Dharisanam festival occasion people worship Lord Shiva in Nataraja form offering thiruvadhirai kali and thiruvadhirai kootu as prasadams,

Take 1 measure of Dhanwantri's Thiruvathirai Kali mix and keep it aside,

Take 2.5 measures of water, and add the given jaggery to it.

• Stir well until the jaggery dissolves completely, and boil it for 2-3 minutes,
• Add the Thiruvadhirai Kali mix to the prepared Jaggery Water and mix thoroughly without any lumps,
• Allow cooking the content until it is done,
• Add 3-4 spoons of pure ghee and mix gently,
• Hot Thiruvathirai Kali is ready to be served with Hot Thiruvathira Kootu for a divine taste
