U Morok (King Chilli) is one of the hottest chillies in the world. King Chilli is also known as Ghost Pepper, Ghost Chilli, Naga Jolokia and Bhoot Jolokia. In Manipur, King Chilli is known as U Morok.

It is consumed fresh or in dried form for its unique flavour and aroma in various traditional Manipuri dishes.

Fresh U Morok is used for making pickles. Use this chilli in non-vegetarian food and enjoy the amazing flavour. It is also used to prepare Eromba, Singju, U Morok Metpa (a form of Manipuri chutney).
