About this product
Bori is a type of dried lentil dumpling popular in Bengali cuisine.
It is traditionally made from a paste of urad dal and winter melon.
The dumplings are sun-dried for 3–5 days until completely dry.
Once properly dried, Bori can be stored for up to about a year.
It is commonly used in traditional Bengali dishes for added flavour and texture.
