Tucked away inside Goregaon Film City, right at the edge of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, lies a forest that truly comes alive in the rain. The moment the monsoon arrives, this hidden green sanctuary transforms; the canopy thickens, mushrooms emerge, dragonflies hover above still puddles, and the air fills with the earthy fragrance of wet soil and fresh moss. What was dry and dusty weeks ago is now lush, layered, and alive in ways that are easy to miss if you don't know where to look. Our guided Monsoon Nature Walk invites you to step into this seasonal shift and experience the forest at its most vivid. With a naturalist leading the way, you'll learn to read the forest floor, spotting a bracket fungus slowly unfurling on bark, watching a jewel beetle catch the grey monsoon light, or pausing to observe a spider rebuild its web after the rain. Butterflies shelter beneath leaves, birds call through the mist, and every puddle tells a story. This is nature doing what it does best, unfolding quietly and constantly, right under our feet. Whether you're a curious first timer, a family looking for something meaningful to do together, or someone who's been watching birds for years, this walk meets you where you are. Our naturalists bring warmth, depth, and a genuine love for the wild, so you leave not just having seen the forest, but having understood a little more of it. Join us for a morning that will change the way you see the rain. Disclaimer: By participating, you also grant Naturalist Explorers LLP permission to photograph and video record you during the experience for use on our marketing and social media channels, unless you explicitly inform us prior to the event. By participating in this event, you acknowledge and accept that you are doing so at your own risk.
